The Historical Works, of humans in the
Australian continent, Part Six:
Note: All battles would involve death and injures, even if I do not mention every time I mention a battle or set of battles
In September of 1939, Germany invaded the Slavic(eastern European) nation Poland, mostly based around the excuse that non-Germans more so Slavic people were inferior and worse to Germans. This would start World War 2, in Europe. Britain and France declared war on Germany, getting involved in World War 2, as Britain, France and Poland, were in an alliance, to all go to war with Germany, if any of them was invaded, by Germany.
Germany was under the NAZI political party and a dictator named Adolf Hitler.
Also in September, Australia's wartime ally Poland was being invaded the Soviet Union, as part of an unofficial alliance with NAZI Germany. The Soviet Union was a nation making about Russia and many regions around Russia. The Soviet Union was also a communist dictatorship. With communism being the economic belief, that all land should be publicly owned and economy should be run by the government, or governments. The most important element was that all money was made to be shared equally, no matter the job. This belief was generally disproved by Australians.
By October, western Poland, which had most of Poland's population was captured, occupied and controlled by Germany. While the Soviet Union had captured, occupied and controlled eastern Poland.
The reason Australia joined World War 2 with Britain was the while Australians embraced Australian identity. Australians, or at least Anglo-Australians(Australian descended from Britain), also embraced British identity. Australia also had an alliance with Britain, where Britain would give more help to Australia in a war, than they otherwise would. In return for Australia giving more help, in a war for Britain, than Australia otherwise would. All Similar to Australia in World War 1.
Australians volunteered to fight in the army and navy, just for while there was war. There were 3 reasons Australians joined the Australian army and navy during World War 2:
1.To serve the British Empire
2.To serve Australia
3.Extra payment for fighting
Since more Australians became soldiers, this meant less Australians working on farms, this meant Australians had less food. Part of the war would also be paid for my borrowing money through loans.

Also in May, Germany invaded Belgium, the Netherlands(the Dutch) and France. In June, all of Belgium, the Netherlands and northern France, had been captured and occupied by Germany. France, which also ruled over some Asian regions and much of Africa, surrendered to become a nation that Germany had some control of. In June, Norway also was captured to become under German control. The Belgium and Dutch colonies had yet surrendered to Germany.
Britain didn't offer defeat and peace to Germany, by letting them keep the regions they ruled over. Winston Churchill believed that if Germany accepted, Germany would soon break that treaty of peace, by going to war with Britain again.
Also in June, Italy became wartime allies of Germany, as part of World War 2. Italy wanted to conquer Egypt and Sudan. Britain still had some control of Egypt. While Egypt and Britain shared direct control of Sudan.
In December, Japan became a wartime ally Germany. Japan even before the alliance with Germany was invading and trying to conquer China, or at least much of it. From the alliance with Germany Japan also wanted to conquer colonies of the Britian and the Netherlands(still Australia's wartime ally) in east Asia, Australia's colony of Papua New Guinea and allegedly Australia itself.
By 1941, Germany was doing airstrikes on Australia's motherland Britian, resulting in Britain and Australia sending planes with soldiers as pilots, to do airstrikes on Germany as revenge. Many of the Australian pilots would be killed while doing airstrikes. In airstrikes on Britain and on Germany, civilians were killed in the crossfire.

German forces then sieged fort port Tobruk, with Australian forces made up of 14,000 soldiers, in the fort and some soldiers from nations allied to Australia. Twice as many German forces were in the siege than forces of Australia and its allies. Australian soldiers would fight German forces in the siege. Also, in the siege the Australian navy sent supplies to the forces in Tobruk. 2 Australian naval ships got sunk by German airstrikes.
In April 1941, Australian forces were already stationed in Greece, to try scaring off and prepare to fight Germany or Italy if they invaded, seemingly to stop their enemy getting too powerful. In that month German would win and conquer Greece. In Crete 5,000 Australian soldiers surrendered and got captured by German forces.

With 15,000 surrendering Australian soldiers captured by Japan to become prisoners of war and wounded Australian soldiers killed by Japanese forces. Australian soldiers in Japanese prisoner of war camps, were not given much food, as Japan didn't bother to give them much and often got forced into slave labour, which all got news coverage in Australia and increased Australians hatred of Japan, motivating Australian soldiers to fight more.
In February of 1942, Japan started to do airstrikes on the Australian city Darwin, in the Northern Territory, in what is called the bombing of Darwin, after which point some civilians in Darwin fled for the time being.
